Houston, TX – March 23, 2020 – RoofCARE, Houston’s premier sustainable roofing company has donated 300 N95 8210 3M face masks, 110 N95 p2 Moldex face masks, 35 Tyvex suits and 18 pairs of industrial work gloves to Houston Methodist Hospitals. The donations will be distributed to medical professionals in the area working to contain COVID-19.
“We heard from the Greater Houston Partnership that medical professionals are feeling the impact of COVID-19 supply shortage and we wanted to help,” said Kevin Wilson, RoofCARE Health and Safety Officer. “We checked our Texas branch locations and found that we had a supply of protective gear that we knew would help our first responders in Houston.
This is not the first time RoofCARE has stepped up to serve its community. RoofCARE has a philanthropy program called Roof Angel implemented where RoofCARE donates roof repairs to non-profits in need.
“Houston is important to RoofCARE and if there is a way we can help our community we are honored to offer our support and resources,” said Louis Zaina, the CEO of RoofCARE.
RoofCARE would like to ask other companies to follow their lead in donating safety supplies to our medical professionals and first responders. Zaina says, “Medical professionals and first responders have been working tirelessly day in and day out and it is time that we do our part.”
RoofCARE is a full-service commercial roofing contractor that specializes in extending the life of existing roofing systems as a cost-efficient and sustainable alternative to premature roof replacement.
